Worcestershire's best venues promoted

Conference-Worcestershire is looking to promote Worcestershire's best events services and venues, which could be used for a company event, it has been reported.

Emma Robinson, head of the council-run service that has represented the county at events across the UK, told Berrow's Worcester Journal that all of its members are "fantastic".

According to the newspaper, current members include the Holiday Inn, Worcester Racecourse, Cotswold Conference Centre and West Midland Safari Park.

"We take every opportunity to promote members' strengths on all levels," Ms Robinson claimed, which could interest firms looking to get the attention of an events agency.

She added that "time is running out" to sign up to the service, with the deadline on June 22nd.

A new service is being launched by the initiative for those venues that are not dedicated conference or business events destinations, but have a conferencing room that firms can book, the news provider also noted.

Those firms looking to host a company event at Worcester Race Course can take advantage of the refurbished Grandstand facilities.
