Its incentives and recognition schemes have seen a US-based company receive a major award, it has been revealed.
Vertex Inc has been named one of the Top Workplaces 2010 in a survey by the Philadelphia Inquirer due to its strong working conditions, pay and benefits.
Jeff Westphal, President and Chief Executive of the organisation, has highlighted the strong focus that the company gives to improving incentives and recognitions.
He explained: "Vertex works continuously to foster an environment where our people can thrive - both personally and professionally - and our success is reflected in our ability to attract and retain top talent."
Mr Westphal said that the success of the firm's incentive and recognition schemes have been shown by the fact that a large number of its employees rated the company highly.
One key strategy to running successful incentives and recognition schemes is to think outside the box, the Great Work Perks blog has asserted.
