Vauxhall revives 1905 bowling club in live brand experience

Car manufacturer Vauxhall has created a new live brand experience by reopening its bowling club, which dates back to 1905.
The company transformed London's Brick Lane into a professional bowling green, with thousands of would-be championship bowlers applying for free tickets to the exclusive live brand experience event.
Vauxhall provided lucky ticket holders with a multi-coloured club house and a psychedelic English garden to enjoy, as well as traditional British picnic food.
The live brand experience was hosted by T4 front-man Rick Edwards and comedy actor Matt Horne put in an appearance.
Vauxhall's bowling live brand experience was part of the marketing campaign to promote its new Astra, which was co-created by illustrator Jamie Cullum.
Cullum is the latest in a long line of celebrity designers to create Vauxhall motifs and live brand experience events, including Emma Bell, Kate Moross and Si Scott.
