A new sustainable development in Leeds aims to be one of the leading conference facilities in the country and hopes to attract plenty of corporate hospitality events to its fold.
The Rose Bowl, a building pioneered for the Leeds Metropolitan University, will become the home for the institution's business school and is due to be completed by April.
High-quality conference facilities aim to accommodate large groups should a corporate event be on the cards, with the reflective glass development also being commended for its environmentally-friendly features such as rainwater harvesting and electricity generated on site.
A statement by the university continued: "These, and many more sustainable features, have resulted in the building being awarded the "excellent" BREEAM rating, the top mark available in industry benchmarking of sustainability credentials."
Nearly £50 million has been spent in the Rose Bowl's creation and uses a lot of recycled materials in its structure.
Last week, Leeds United's stadium at Elland Road was commended for its facilities for anybody aiming to organise a get-together through an event organiser.
