Team building is 'success in economic uncertainty'
Date: 09/01/2009
A start-up business has spoken of the success of outsourcing a team building exercise to an events organiser to help in motivating them in the face of the credit crisis.
Ruth Dawe and her husband Lawrence Fitch told of how they used an events agency to get valuable advice as to how they could improve and maintain profitability through the dark days of the economic recession, according to Top-Consultant.
Ms Dawe spoke of the honest, professional and caring attitudes that she was faced with, adding that the organisation she spoke with showed strong evidence of having values and principles to help businesses move forward.
She concluded: "The course was well planned, detailed, interactive and developed open, friendly team building. I feel it's given me all the mental, physical and emotional tools to equip me on the start up of my adventure."
Last month, it was established by David Luke of Canadian Business Online that motivating employees is all down to passion for the work and how you instil it in the office.
