Team building activities to be offered at Yorkshire Cricket Mela

Businesses are being encouraged to take part in a number of corporate team building events at this year's Yorkshire Cricket Mela.

On Thursday July 15th, the Building Winning Teams event will be held at Bradford and Bingley RFC in Bingley, reports the Yorkshire Evening Post.

According to the organisers of the event, the team building activities will highlight the uses of team sport mentality in the workplace.

Business Link Yorkshire's Gary Lumby said: "When people see business concepts in the context of something they feel passionate about, like sport, they get even more engaged.

"This is an excellent opportunity for us all to show what we can achieve by pulling together as a team."

The programme incorporates more than 20 cultural and team building events.

According to Kevin Mehok, a team building corporate events expert, it can be beneficial for businesses to liken their workplace teams to sports teams, reports SearchAoutParts.com.
