The atmosphere of an office can be hugely improved should a business decide to offer flexible working as a means of improving morale, it has been stated.
Aberdeenshire Council is working together with several experts to highlight the benefits of such an initiative for companies looking to increase incentives and recognition in the workplace, with a meeting being held to outline the difference it makes for any businesses looking to attend in Scotland.
Held on Thursday (August 20th), it is believed that any organisation can reap the rewards from mobile and flexible working solutions, particularly with the improvements in technology over the last few years.
Ian Armstrong, the north-east manager of the Scottish Council for Development and Industry, said: "For companies in these competitive and financially constrained times, it makes sense to look at all the possible and available options."
The government encourages the adoption of flexible working, noting that it makes "good business sense", particularly for families.
