Those looking towards corporate events management may want to consult their events organiser about the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) which has secured another huge contract.
Summer Eventia, a gathering organised each year by trade body Eventia, will be hitting up the Glaswegian location so that its 350 delegates can enjoy the facilities, perhaps leading to the booking of over 1,000 hotel rooms over the three-day period and allowing the display of a number of brand experiences.
Ben Goedegebuure, the director of sales at the SECC, explained that he has long been an admirer of Summer Eventia and has regularly attended them, making this a particularly corporate event for him.
"Our firm track record in holding events is what makes the SECC such a successful venue and the host to some of the biggest events in Europe.
"On behalf of the team here at the SECC we look forward to showing the delegates of Summer Eventia some great Scottish hospitality."
Many popular artists also travel to the SECC, with rapper Ne-Yo recently performing at the location.
