Team building within a company working from several locations at any one time is easily galvanised by an across-the-board recognition scheme, it has been stated.
TharpeRobbins revealed its definitive list of how employee recognition schemes can enhance the workplace dynamic during the economic downturn.
It explained: "With an increasing number of staff members working from home offices, a continuous employee recognition program works to bind employees at remote locations to the organisation's mission and goals."
The organisation added that by principle, a recognition programme "drives excellence by example" and by motivating employees, they will be likely to represent the company brand much more effectively.
Brett Tharpe, the president and chief executive officer of TharpeRobbins, said that performance needs to be kept at a high level during these tough times and to do this, rewards must be in place.
This month, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management found that long-term incentives are very necessary in the current work environment as it is this which fosters more consistent performance in the office.
