New Zealand rally driver Hayden Paddon and co-driver John Kennard have experienced the benefits of team building corporate events after meeting the other four Pirelli Star Drivers at Edinburgh University.
As part of his preparations for the FIA World Rally Championship, Paddon and his teammates spent ten days in Scotland and Italy for a team building conference, Rallybuzz.com reports.
The first activity saw the group given a variety of materials to construct their own small-scale racing circuit, complete with a working bridge, before racing one another on the track with remote-controlled cars.
"It was great to meet our new teammates," the news provider reports Haddon as saying.
"There already seems to be a good vibe in the team."
Hayden Paddon began driving go-karts at the age of six and last year won the Pacific Cup in the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship, as well as the six NZRC Rally victories under his belt.
