The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC) has invested over £1 million in updating its interior, confirming its commitment to holding high status as a prestigious host of team building conferences.
At the facility, the main registration foyer has been the main subject of the refurbishments and embraces energy-efficient lighting as well as brand new registration desks, new colour schemes and plush carpets.
Digital signage and other systems to improve access have also been added.
Ernest Vincent, the chief executive of the facility, said: "Our programme of summer works clearly demonstrates an intention to maintain the QEIICC as a modern, efficient and entirely up to date conference centre in a very special location."
He added that the organisation's clients can continue to feel confident about creating a "first class experience" for their delegates, speakers and any high-profile attendees which such events can attract, with many undoubtedly endorsing improvements that have been made.
The QEIICC is located in between Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament and provides 26 conference and event spaces across seven floors.
