A recent major event at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) has been hailed a major success by its organisers.
The Offshore Europe staff revealed that well over 40,000 people attended the show in the Granite City, attracting 30,000 people on days two and three alone to its team building conferences and live brand experiences.
Organisers highlighted how the "crucial aspect" of nurturing talent in a global industry such as offshore activities was also discussed, particularly in how the sector will overcome global shortages of technical talent.
Event manager Elaine Hulse said of the success: "We are very encouraged by the level of support shown by the offshore oil and gas sector, and the stands and aisles throughout the exhibition have been very busy all week.
"There has been a real buzz around the show floor, with lots of meetings and networking taking place on the stands."
Gladys Knight will be performing part of her Farewell Tour at the AECC later next month with support from Tito Jackson, highlighting the venue's popularity with corporate events management.
