The demand for corporate hospitality events at Newcastle Racecourse has not waned in the last year, according to organisers at the facility in the north east.
Speaking to the Journal in the Tyneside city, executive director Mark Spincer remarked on how the area continues to attract a wide array of major businesses for team building exercises or other morale-boosting events.
He continued: "Conferences and corporate events have become an increasingly important part of our business and we are now an established and well-regarded venue nationally.
"We have hosted events ranging from international political conferences to major business fairs and one-to-one corporate meetings."
Among the organisations to host such get-togethers include the Newcastle Primary Care Trust, the Department of Work & Pensions, Newcastle University and Rotary International.
However, the south is not without its delights for a corporate event, with ExCeL London recently being awarded with two gongs at the Exhibition News Awards for its green credentials and great venue support.
