Expedia has launched a new live brand experience campaign that allows people to "try" a destination before they book their holiday.
Users will be able to look around hotels and check out a holiday destination in real-time before they hand over their credit card details.
Expedia is testing technology that will provide live streaming video from a huge number of destinations around the globe to its customers.
Commenting on the live brand experience, Alex Gisbert, director of online partner marketing at Expedia, said: "It's important that we stay at the forefront of digital technology and customer experience."
The new live brand experience is part of Expedia's over-arching digital marketing strategy.
Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Phil Harvey of marketing agency JPMH claimed that engaging brand experiences can boost a company's bottom line.
He claimed that effective campaigns can increase a firm's "brand equity".
