Motivational members to be celebrated at awards ceremony
Date: 03/07/2009
Inspirational individuals from workplaces in Peterborough and the surrounding area are being targeted by an awards ceremony which aims to give them the reward and recognition which several may give to their own staff.
Branded clothing company Recognition Express is launching the scheme as a salute to hard work, commitment and loyalty of employees across the area, whether they are a tea lady, charity volunteer or finance director, the Peterborough Evening Telegraph has reported.
Arthur Keighley, the man behind the awards, said the credit crunch has highlighted the hard work being put in by a number of people in the area, with many doing it without any hint of reward and recognition.
He continued: "It's that fighting spirit, commitment and hard work we want to reward. It gives bosses a chance to say thank you for a job well done, which can be just as effective as a pay rise in keeping staff motivated."
One company which recently stepped up its recognition scheme is Kellogg's, which is enhancing its offering through a jargon-free campaign.
