Microsoft launches Xbox 360 live brand experience

Date: 02/08/2010

Microsoft has kicked-off a five-week live brand experience for its flagship console the Xbox 360.

The company has taken over Covent Garden's Flower Cellars, transforming it into a gaming exhibition.

Microsoft is hoping to win gamers over at the live brand experience with its new Kinect control-free gaming technology.
The specially designed Kinect Galleries venue will give Londoners the chance to become the first people on the planet to try Kinect.

The firm will then take the live brand experience on the road, visiting theme parks and major events around the country.

"Visitors to the Kinect Tour will also be able to have their play session filmed with a 25 second video clip created which can be accessed later through www.kinect.me and shared with friends and family and across social networks," the company said.

Computer game developer EA recently hosted a live brand experience event in London's Trafalgar Square - breaking the world record for the largest number of people to play a single football game on a console.
