York's Marriott Hotel is set to open its doors to a host of corporate hospitality events after a £500,000 investment.
Scheduled for completion in April, the hotel will build on its success as the Business Development Research Consultants' top conference venue in Yorkshire by offering its guests even better facilities, claims the Press, a local newspaper.
"British companies or organisers putting together international events like to choose the historic cities to showcase the country in order to raise their international image and York hits the spot," comments Katharine Barenthien, general manager of the hotel.
A perfect venue for those looking to hold corporate events over the coming months, the hotel had also been named as a finalist in the Press Business Awards last year.
The Marriott Hotel group also claimed the top spot for number one large hotel group last year, warding off competition from other venues across the country.
