Manchester conference venues join forces

Date: 14/08/2009

Four of Manchester's leading corporate venues have joined forces in order to attract a great amount of people to the area for such things as team building corporate events.

Businesses also looking to host a live brand experience may be interested in the initiative, which will see Ramada Manchester Salford Quays, the Imperial War Museum North, Lancashire County Cricket Club and the Lowry working together to promote themselves.

Trading under the Quays Conferencing moniker, the group aims to run several week-long showcases designed to prove to customers that they are a great choice for an upcoming team building conference.

Anthony Zvirblis, the spokesperson for Quays Conferencing, said: "We will be hosting two major events for the industry over the next 12 months and feel confident that pooling our resources will pay dividends for all partners."

Quays Conferencing believes that whether a business is visiting for a couple of hours or a full weekend, there is a "cultural treasure trove" available to people wanting to sample the best of culture, sport, art and food during their trip.
