London Aquarium to expand corporate events facility

Date: 18/02/2009

Businesses interested in hosting a corporate hospitality event in the capital later this year may be very interested to hear about the latest £5 million investment in the industry.

Reports have confirmed that the London Aquarium, which is home to one of the biggest collections of underwater life on the continent, is expanding its conference facilities with a cash injection aimed at attracting more businesses interested in developing both client and interpersonal skills.

It will be rebranded under the Sea Life moniker when it is completed, having been bought out in April 2008.

An ocean walk underwater tunnel is perhaps the most interesting prospect for the new development, which will allow people to stroll underneath sharks on their way to a corporate event.

Furthermore, an innovative partition system can divide rooms into more intimate spaces for parties of over 150, or combine to host around 1,000 delegates.

The aquarium is on the bottom floor of County Hall, which is on the south bank of the River Thames close to the London Eye and a number of other attractions which may appeal to businesses.ADNFCR-2060-ID-19032973-ADNFCR
