The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) Games Steering Group is to host a one-of-a-kind live brand experience event designed to show how games advertising campaigns can work.
The Games Advertising Showcase, which will be held at the organisation's London offices on May 26th, is an experiential incorporating interactive elements that will help marketers to promote products in-game.
Live examples of some of the best advertising campaigns in recent times, including Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3 and online gaming sites like Playfish will form part of the event.
Attendees will also have the chance to try Sony's 3D and motion control technology for the Playstation 3 for the first time ever.
Meanwhile, experts in the gaming sector will be on hand to discuss the role of advertising in this fast-growing sector.
The IAB's Games Steering Group was formed in March and includes Microsoft, DoubleFusion, IGN.com, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and other noted heavyweights from the games industry.
