Leeds United event facilities bags another gong

Elland Road's corporate hospitality event hosts were given a second award in as many months at the Leeds Hotels Association awards dinner.

It marks one of many major victories for the organisation, which has been working hard with events organisers across the country to host major functions at the ground known on weekends as the home of Leeds United.

Conference and events manager Helen Briden said the employees at the facility are "overwhelmed" by the number of awards they have received, highlighting the solid work ethic of the team.

She continued: "This truly shows the hard work and dedication that my team display on an ongoing basis. This recognition confirms the commitment we offer to our customers and the Business Tourism Industry alike, here in Yorkshire."

Gordon Jackson, the chairman of Leeds Hotels Association, added that it was always a great thing to see such talented people helping out those needing top-class services.

The Elland Road venue was given the accolade of having the best facilities in League One at the last Football Hospitality Awards.
