L'Oreal to create live brand experience kiosks

International beauty products manufacturer L'Oreal is considering teaming up with a number of high street retailers to boost its live brand experience marketing efforts.
The company is contemplating rolling-out a number of digital mirror kiosks, which would allow shoppers to try out hair and beauty products before they buy them, reports Marketing Magazine.
Using EZface technology, the new digital mirror booths not only show the end results of such products, but teach shoppers how to use them correctly.
L'Oreal, which introduced the technology in several of its own stores earlier this year, will trial the new live brand experience booths later this month at a number of other retailers.
It is believed that L'Oreal has already considered a tie-up with high street chain Boots, the news provider states.
Recently, L'Oreal dodged complaints that its advert for Elvive Full Restore 5, featuring Cheryl Cole, were misleading because the singer was wearing hair extensions.
