A major cereal company is benefiting from a team building event with a difference - a return to the schoolyard for all staff.
Kellogg's picked up the peashooters, saddled up on space hoppers and jumped feet-first into sack races organised by a local events agency, according to north-west media outlet How-Do.
The Old School Yard Tournament company event saw employees dressing the part as schoolchildren acting as organisers donned the mortarboards for the team building training.
Divisional sales manager at Kellogg's Neil James said: "The competitions really helped to create a team ethic while at the same time, they made sure everyone had a lot of fun. The back to school theme was a real novelty for those attending.
He added that the buzz of excitement surrounding the team building activity saw many others from around the complex come along to find out what the fun was all about.
The cereal company was founded in 1906 by William Kellogg, based on his novel meal of corn flakes, which were discovered completely by accident.
