A leading light in the world of human resources is emphasising the role which incentives and recognition play in offices and factories around the world when motivation is dropping.
Florent Francoeur, the president and chief executive officer of the The Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agrees, was firmly behind the notion of addressing anxious workers in the current climate, when economic unrest is causing many to question their security in the workplace.
He explained: "By improving internal communications, employers will be better able to restore employee confidence and respond to the drop in motivation and commitment that could result from the crisis."
Mr Francoeur added that businesses investing time into human resources management must review all practices in regards to wages and benefits, work climate, internal policies, occupational health and safety and, perhaps most importantly, employee motivation.
The Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agrees contributes as much as it can to the maintenance and development of a healthy working environment as well as an efficient and organised atmosphere that respects individuals and teams.
