A journalist has spoken about his interest in writing about team building corporate events that get staff out from behind their desks and involved in challenges.
Freelance writer Steve Cotterell said that his favourite team building conferences to write about are those which offer interesting case-studies and exciting destinations.
Mr Cotterell recollects a particular corporate team building event which appealed to his adventurous side.
The event took him on a safari in South Africa, where the group of people took part in training which involved observing the behaviour of animals in the wild.
"I'm always interested in writing about project management training and team-building (and related), though that has to be something more than just classroom sessions or computer-based self tuition," he told Features Exec.
Corporate team building events bring groups of workers together with the aim of improving relationships through creative challenges.
