Incentive programmes 'help businesses thrive in recession'

Date: 29/09/2009

An event out in the US is highlighting the genuine worth of incentives and recognition to a wider audience.

The 2009 Motivation Show, which is set to take place in McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, aims to emphasise the importance of the likes of team building corporate events, exhibiting over 1,000 suppliers of merchandise and plans which can help out businesses in the recession.

Organisers working with the event explained that unlike other sales and marketing strategies, incentives and recognition schemes always endure economic downturns and accentuate the need for companies to invest in their human resources.

It was added: "Incentive programmes tend to thrive during times of economic stress, despite the initial hit when bad times set in.

"It helps explain why savvy companies turn to incentive programmes to drive business growth even while cutting budgets for other business development functions."

Over 70 professional seminars will also be offered to attendees wanting to understand just how money can be returned from a contract with corporate events management companies.
