The Glasgow City Marketing Bureau has announced its pride after it confirmed 15 team building conferences at a number of locations, including the famous Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC).
New conferences will be held in the area by the European Conference on Digital Libraries and Association of Paediatric Dentistry, while the European Proteomics Association and the European Association of Diagnostic Imaging will return to the area.
Molly Doheny, the head of the Convention Bureau at GCMB, said of the trade the SECC has been doing: "Glasgow has had an extremely successful summer of new international conference wins.
"The market is hugely competitive at the moment but these wins demonstrate that conference organisers are giving a big vote of confidence to Glasgow."
Ben Goedegebuure, director of sales at the SECC, said the city's venues recognise the importance of working together to attract business to the area.
At the end of the month, the SECC will host the MOBO Awards for the first time, celebrating Music Of Black Origin.
