Events industry is a "durable marketing media"

Business directors wanting to hire event organisers in the UK have been encouraged to do so by a major company, which backs the idea as a great investment.

The Events Industry Alliance (EIA) detailed the annual Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Conference in Brighton, which concluded that businesses can viably put money into events as they will "discover exciting opportunities within this most durable of marketing media".

It noted that in the discussion regarding the investment chances presented by the events industry, AEO chair Philip Soar said that the way businesses tackled the recession had a major effect on venues and suppliers, opening up the market to smaller businesses.

He added that "when bigger companies and competitors discard viable event properties", smaller aggressive companies will find greater opportunities presented to them.

The AEO is run by its members through an elected council of representatives, working for the benefit of each other to serve the needs of consumers hoping to harness the potential of exhibitions and team building events.ADNFCR-2060-ID-18920875-ADNFCR
