Employee motivation lifted with promise of healthcare

Date: 16/12/2010

Bosses at Aston Martin and Eaga Partnership have improved mind and body wellbeing by boosting employee motivation this Christmas with the promise of health cash plans.

The guarantee means that 1,000 Aston Martin and 4,500 Eaga workers will have access to everyday healthcare treatments including dental, optical physiotherapy and complementary therapies.

These workers are the latest to receive rewards from employers in the lead up to Christmas.

Recently, Tesco boosted staff morale when it announced it would give employees benefits worth 355 million including vouchers and days off.

This followed Siemens which awarded staff a £267 million bonus to reward them for their hard work through the recession.

Philip Wood, executive director of sales and marketing at Health Shield, said: "We are delighted to add such a revered company like Aston Martin to our expanding client portfolio.

"Eaga Partnership is an extremely employee-focused business that obviously holds its staff in high regard.

"We are delighted to be offering an extensive health cash plan that will perfectly complement the raft of benefits already available to employees – a scheme that is very much focused on the health and wellbeing of staff."
