Employee motivation: Motivation month is launched

Date: 01/02/2012

February 1st marks the start of Motivation Month, which is an opportunity for all those around London to get involved in a number of events.

As well as corporate party planning evenings there will be team building activities and motivational meetings.

Motivation Month has been launched as part of Britain for Events and showcases what the events industry has on offer in the capital.

The opening night will see corporate event managers attending Madame Taussauds for an evening which has been designed through the answers to a survey conducted on Facebook and Twitter.

Later on in the month The MotivAction Group will host a daylong event in which corporate team building activities will be carried out.

They will exemplify how team building is a great way for companies to bond with their employees and uncover strengths which were hidden among team members.

Barbara Jamison, head of the campaign, said: "It’s key for business tourism and event planners that they use this unique year to motivate and really inspire their clients, staff and colleagues but also to share their knowledge."

There will be plenty of inspiration for anyone who attends any of the sessions and events being held throughout Motivation month, where the best venues, techniques and activities will be explored.

In February, from breakfast till well into the evening, there will be a wide variety of events held as part of the campaign, which should help businesses make the most of the London Olympic year.

Some of them must be booked in advance, but events such as Mission Motivation is free to attend, so just pop along and see what you can learn.

Events such as these are a great way to stay abreast of what is happening in the industry and to network and allows ideas to evolve and open up collaborations.ADNFCR-2060-ID-801281243-ADNFCR
