Employee engagement conference to come to MK

Date: 11/03/2010

A "groundbreaking engagement event" is to visit Milton Keynes this month in order to highlight the importance of incentives and recognition in the workplace, among other ideas.

The Art of Engagement opens its doors at the National Bowl Milton Keynes on March 15th and is aimed to help improving the levels of engagement of UK employees, as well as the performance of British businesses on the whole.

Organisational credit goes to Best Companies, which compiles the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list every year.

The event, which is hosted in a purpose-built structure popular with corporate events management businesses around the country, is hoping to attract in excess of 5,000 directors and senior managers from over 1,000 UK employers.

Jonathan Austin, chief executive officer and founder of Best Companies, said: "For private and public sector companies to be successful in their markets, they must have engaged staff.

"With the Art of Engagement we hope to break new boundaries in helping companies devise and implement engagement techniques, which have a real impact on their business."

Nando's was voted the best big company to work for in the 2010 list put together by Best Companies.
