Data centres industry hosts event to motivate for expansion

Date: 09/01/2009

In a move to motivate employees in the data centre industry, the Data Centres Europe Awards (DCE09) is to encourage expansion and performance through an upcoming event in April.

The awards ceremony is hoping to give reward and recognition to all companies which deal in the sector and plans to host a number of accompanying corporate events to get the sector's bosses to expand their businesses.

DCE09's events organiser continued: "A series of workshops running concurrently with the main conference will focus on data centre locations, with representatives of government agencies and private companies who are actively engaged in encouraging data centres to establish new facilities in advantageous locations."

It is hoped that DCE09 will act as an incentive scheme as well as a rewarding experience for the lucky companies which attend in three months time.

Speaking to About.com, American marketing and communications expert Robert Abbott said that by arriving unannounced an hour early to a hospitality event's site visit, a person can get a better measure of the facility.ADNFCR-2060-ID-18964547-ADNFCR
