People looking to host a company event in the distant future may want to head to the north-west, with Lancashire County Cricket Club announcing the redevelopment of its ground.
The famous Old Trafford cricket ground is undergoing a £12 million improvement which the club is funding itself in an attempt to attract big name companies and major events to its facilities, which are expected to be completed by April 2010.
It is understood the new suite will be self-contained and overlooking the pitch, meaning corporate event planners will be able to host an event with a game of cricket on in the background or as part of the team building training that the attendees may desire.
Furthermore, the room will be capable of holding 1,000 people as well as being split into three should the situation demand it, making it useful for smaller staff parties.
Old Trafford is to host a number of big names this year, with Take That playing at the ground in June.
