Corporate team building event turns employees into Tom Cruise

An innovative approach to employee motivation was taken recently by a well-known internet company, which sent 40 staff to London's Peacock Bar for an evening learning the craft of cocktail making.

The group was split into four teams, each with a team leader and their own personal cocktail trainer to facilitate the corporate team building event.

However, tension was added in the form of a competitive element to the evening, as leaders who were too slow to organise their teams, talked too much or simply made bad cocktails would be penalised.

Thankfully, the competition ended in a three-course meal and an 80s-theme disco, while team members were invited to take to the DJ podium and show their stuff, while an in-house photographer was on hand to capture memorable moments.

As well as hosting corporate team building events, Peacock Bar in Clapham Junction is a well-known spot for burlesque and cabaret shows.
