Use corporate event management to communicate with employees about the incentives and recognition as well as staff benefits that are available to them.
A recent poll by Eyecare trust and Simplyhealth has revealed that 40 per cent of employees are unaware they can claim an eye test if from their employer if they regularly use a computer monitor in their workplace.
And 90 per cent suffer symptoms of screen fatigue, which include headaches and eyestrain.
So Daska Barnett, an optometrist and founder of Specs of Kensington, has advised bosses to communicate the benefits available to their workers – and a great way to deliver a company message is at corporate conferences.
That way you can address everyone at once and make sure you are doing your bit to help them make the most of staff incentives.
"I think people really have little awareness of, firstly, the benefits of having their eyes examined and, secondly, the fact that this healthcare provision is actually something their employer would pay to have done.
"People just don't necessarily appreciate the symptoms that they have and that the cost of an eye examination will be picked up by their employer. It's something that they should seek out."
