Why not use corporate event management to enhance sales and marketing skills, as new research has pinpointed these credentials as the most crucial for growth.
According to research of 1,700 small companies by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), almost half think that sales, marketing and PR training would help their business to grow in the future.
Corporate conferences are a useful way of offering training as you could bring in an expert to boost staff understanding and development.
You could also use sales incentives to improve skills among your workforce, which in turn could boost the productivity of your business.
John Walker, national chairman at the Federation of Small Businesses, said: "For small firms to grow, they need to train staff in the skills that will impact on their bottom line.
He added that it is "vital" not to lose young people to unemployment and a lack of skills training – so businesses should consider training their staff through corporate conferences to make sure they have a strong workforce.
