Corporate event management: Use corporate conferences to discuss your brand with staff

Date: 17/06/2011

Why not use corporate conferences as an opportunity to communicate with staff about the importance of developing a brand for a company.

For companies who have recently branched out online, you may like to discuss how you will communicate with customers via the internet, as an expert has said that online interaction is just as important as it is in person.

Phil Kingsland, site director at knowthenet.org.uk, has pointed out how important it is to have a clear, defined message for customers.

"According to our research, the most common tools that British small businesses are investing in to support their business include search engine marketing – 29 per cent - and email marketing – 25 per cent," he said.

"Many are also using social media tools – 24 per cent to grow the business, win leads and keep customers informed."

So whatever type of online tools you're using, make sure your staff are equally informed about your intentions by using corporate event management to communicate with everyone.

After all, Ruth Spellman from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) recently said it's important to maintain a good dialogue between managers and staff – and corporate conferences can help you do this.
