With smartphones leading a new era of flexible working opportunities, corporate conferences could be a great way to offer staff training on home-working.
According to Smart Gorillas, flexible working is "definitely on the rise" thanks to a new range of mobile phones that offer workers up-to-date technology.
In fact, Apple has recently unveiled its new iWork software, which allows users to create, edit and send documents using Word and PowerPoint from their mobile phone.
So using corporate event management to discuss the new technology could let staff know the company policy.
It could also help a business get the best from their workers by allowing them to work at home.
Heather McLean, editor of Smart Gorillas said: "Smartphones are having a massive impact on business life today.
"Smartphones are actually making it possible for more companies to work flexibly, as they open up access to company networks and files in an affordable way."
She added that tablets are "the next big thing" for business, so why not use corporate conferences to discuss how these can be incorporated into your company as well.
