Last year's big royal event was the royal wedding, but this year those managing corporate events will benefit from the flock of visitors to London for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee parade.
The River Thames will play host to 1,000 boats from across the globe, led by the Queen in order to celebrate her 60 years on the thrown.
A special bank holiday weekend has been declared for the event, which is to take place on June 3rd and will include fireworks, a mechanical dragon and music spanning the length of her reign.
Roads and bridges will be closed in order to accommodate the one million spectators expected to turn out for the event
2012 is shaping up to be an important year for corporate events, as delegates will be visiting for the London 2012 Olympics and it is hoped the UK will benefit from extra visitor numbers.
Lord Salisbury, organiser of the event, said: "I believe that we should recognise her sixty years of selfless public service with an event that can properly express our admiration and gratitude. The Pageant is just that."
