Corporate event management: Panda packages from Edinburgh Zoo

Edinburgh Zoo is to offer corporate event packages starting at £6,000 to see its new pandas.

A rare opportunity to have a private viewing of the pandas, which have arrived at the zoo would definitely remain in the memory of clients and potential companies.

Private viewings cost £12,000, but for £57.60 a head, delegates can see Tian Tian and Yang Guang and then enjoy a buffet lunch at the zoo's mansion house.

Those in corporate event management will be interested to know that the events room holds a maximum of 110 people.

There is no doubt that the pandas will be popular as 1,500 tickets were sold to see them within hours of going on sale.

It is claimed that the ten different venues on offer for corporate events at Edinburgh Zoo are flexible enough to hold 23 types of conference or party, ranging from team-building exercises to gala dinners.

Oakfield Manor at Chester Zoo can hold 170 corporate guests and a wide variety of animals are on show, but does not offer the hype associated with the eagerly-anticipated pandas.
