Prime conference and events venues will be the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games for those in corporate events management.
All of the major sporting locations will be home to event spaces once the main event comes to an end, with high standard venues being on offer at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, including the stadium, velo park and aquatic centre.
One unusual place to host an event which everyone would remember would be inside the huge Orbit sculpture built by Anish Kapoor and capable of holding up to 300 people.
Speaking at the Beyond 2012 event, Clive Little, director of events and programming at the Olympic Park Legacy Company, said: “The viewing platform can be used for events and people are encouraged to take the lift to the top and walk down," reports Meet Pie.
The Olympic Park Legacy Commission will be canvassing opinion on the uses people would like to see for the park and sporting spaces once the Games are over.
Estimates for the overall cost of the Games stand at £9.3 billion.
