Why not hire a health and safety professional to attend corporate conferences, as this could help your business deal with risk issues outside your expertise, an expert has advised.
According to Roger Bibbings, occupational safety adviser at The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), a health and safety consultant can help businesses to understand "where they are now and what to do next".
According to a survey by the British Chambers of Commerce, almost half of businesses see health and safety regulations as a burden – so why not ease this with corporate event management.
"[Businesses] may need [an] outside [perspective] to help them understand where they are now and what they need to do next," said Mr Bibbings.
"They certainly need outside help to deal with complex risk issues which lie outside their expertise."
He added that hiring an expert could help with training programmes, which could take place through corporate conferences, where businesses can deliver the corporate message and address a number of employees at once.
