Corporate conferences work best with a diverse array of minds, an expert has said.
Kim Stephenson, author of Taming the Pound, has pointed out that leadership motivation isn't about one view being right, rather that different views are right at different times.
Corporate event management is an ideal time to air ideas about how best to take the business forward, as it gives everyone the opportunity to hear others' views that they may not know otherwise.
Mr Stephenson pointed out that there are times when many people have an idea which is right, but emphasised that the important thing is to have debates from people who respect each other but are "passionate about their own values"
"That encompasses different viewpoints and priorities, because then there are more options to deal with the particular situation, whatever it is.
"Having people with a whole range of different views about attitudes, priorities and appropriate strategies in business makes for more arguments, but also more options, and more chance to find the appropriate strategy for the situation."
