Corporate event management: Clients return to the ICC in Birmingham 'because it hosts successful events'

Date: 13/05/2011

Businesses looking for a venue to hold their corporate conferences could consider the ICC in Birmingham, which has plenty of experience hosting these kinds of events.

Carly O'Donnell, a spokeswoman for the National Exhibition Centre Group which runs the ICC, said that because the venue has so much experience, it keeps clients happy and they return for corporate event management.

"Clients return to the ICC every year because they know their event will be successfully delivered every single time," she said.

"The ICC team will enhance any event, of any size, for any audience."

Ms O'Donnell pointed out that the ICC has a total capacity of 8,000 with 3,050 metres squared of exhibition space.

In addition to this, she said, it has 11 halls and ten meeting rooms, allowing it to host over 400,000 guests at more than 570 events per year.

"However, larger events can be catered for by incorporating the facilities available at a sister-venue," she said.

"The NIA, which lies adjacent to the ICC, offers 5500m2 of additional exhibition space or can be used as an opening ceremony for delegations of up to 13,000," she added.
