Corporate party planning can boost morale by celebrating a company's achievements and milestones with a party that staff can enjoy, as well as providing an opportunity to mingle with suppliers and customers.
This is what Unique Venues of London recently did, when it celebrated its 18th birthday with a bash at the V&A in London.
According to Event Magazine, the party saw 400 employees, clients and suppliers enjoying cocktails, canapes and a five-tier birthday cake.
UVL chairman and London Eye corporate sales manager Lisa Hatswell told the magazine: "It was a great chance for us to look back at all the accomplishments over the years, recognise all the people that have helped us to grow to an organisation which generated £63 million in events in 2010, and look ahead at all we can still become."
Another organisation which enlisted corporate party planners to help celebrate its achievements is business networking group BNI, which is marking its first £1 million of new business referrals by holding a reception at Whitstable Castle, reported This is Kent.
