Corporate event management: A luxury or a necessity?

Date: 06/09/2011

MotivAction is taking part in a two-day corporate event being held in London with 100 corporate event organisers and representatives from companies such as BMW, Barclays and Starbucks Coffee.

The Event Organisers Summit is designed to get the debate going about whether corporate events are a luxury companies can ill afford or an important profit driver they cannot afford to ignore.

The event will allow the companies to have one-on-one appointments and focus on justifying events through planning, action and achieving the desired result and produce effective events.

Another business event due to take place soon is the MADE Entrepreneurs Festival in Sheffield which will take place on 23rd September, which will also look at corporate events.

Dale Parmenter of drpgroup said: “Sometimes events are seen as a luxury, rather than a profit driver or driver of communication. An event is a shared experience, that’s what makes events much more powerful than other media.”
