In light of the recent and current political party conferences across the UK in the last 30 days, a recent survey has looked into which venues are most favoured for such things as team building conferences.
According to a new report released by ComRes and College Public Policy, the most popular space selected by 149 respondents was Manchester, with 42 per cent of people interviewed seeing the destination as the best available, PR Week reported.
Brighton came in second place with 32 per cent of the first preference vote, while certain other venues including Birmingham, Bournemouth and Blackpool all returned much lower percentages of the poll.
Out of the senior in-house public affairs practitioners addressed in the study, Blackpool - despite its low returns overall - was the most popular destination for public sector, non-governmental organisation and trade union meetings, PR Week added.
Manchester tops the table as today (Monday October 5th) sees the first day of the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester Central, formerly known as the GMEX.
