Team building corporate events may be increasing in number in the capital from US visitors, should a new initiative be successful.
That's because Boris Johnson, the mayor of London and New York's equivalent Michael Bloomberg have announced a two-year tourism agreement between their cities to boost travel and associated things such as team building conferences.
Best practices will be shared to maximise travel between the landmark destinations, with the two assisting one another with at least one publicity event in their partner's city.
London and New York City have many commonalities, Mayor Johnson announced, adding that a major element of "optimism and determination" and an appreciation for innovation and diversity bonds the two closely.
He continued: "Our common cultural ties, not least absolute dedication to providing world-class services and experiences for both residents and visitors, make the two cities exceptionally well poised to combine knowledge as well as resources to impact the economies and future of the cities."
Following the agreement, Mayor Johnson urged US companies to visit London and take advantage of "fantastic" business investment opportunities surrounding London's Olympic Park.
