Coca-Cola offers live brand experience with Christmas truck UK tour

Coca-Cola's iconic Christmas adverts will burst out of the TV screen as part of a live brand experience this year.

Santa's fairy-lit Coca-Cola truck will tour the UK for five weeks from November 11th, offering samples and entertainment with a Christmas choir and brass band.

Cities including Edinburgh, Liverpool, Leeds and London will be illuminated with a visit from the truck.

The live brand experience also includes a GPS tracking device to tell fans where the truck is and where it will be stopping next.

The famous 'Holidays are Coming' TV jingle will spread Christmas excitement from November 12th, when it starts airing.
Zoe Howarth, market activation director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, said that she hoped the tour would bring a "little slice of Christmas happiness".

"Coca-Cola Great Britain has a rich heritage in creating fantastic Christmas campaigns that create anticipation and reward. This year we're delivering a festive stocking full of iconic assets and exciting new executions," she said.

"Our campaigns old and new are synonymous with the festive season and 'Holidays Are Coming' signals the start of Christmas for many."

The famous image of Santa Claus as a jolly man in a red suit appeared as a result of Coca-Cola advertising in 1931.
