Charity quiz 'a great team building activity'

Managers looking for something different for a corporate team building event could try arranging a quiz or heading to one held locally.

One such event is held each year in Hemel Hempstead, where the annual Big Business Quiz, organised by Community Action Dacorum, raises tens of thousands of pounds for charity.

Businesses are invited to buy a table at the event for a night of corporate team building and supporting a good cause.

One reason why quizzes are such a good corporate team building activity is that they cater to all employees, regardless of age or gender, as everyone has their area of speciality knowledge.

Finding team activities which suit everyone is increasingly important, with many experts highlighting the importance of a diverse workforce and the rising retirement age creating an older population of employees.

Team quizzes can also be a great opportunity for people to get to know co-workers from different departments if the teams are mixed up.
